Gumbi Software Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2008 IT Company based in Hubli. Company started its first product with an innovation in the field of Education. Seeing the depth in the innovation and its application in the field of Education it was provided with the Technology Incubation facility from M.S.R.I.T., Bangalore.
With our company's inception in 2006 within a very short span of our work we have spread across National and International levels, especially with our products /programs in Satellite Education and School /College Management Software.
The R & D Resources and facilities are from The National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), established by the Government of India, which is working with a broad objective of promoting gainful self-employment amongst the S&T manpower in the country and to setup knowledge based and innovation driven enterprises. The research center of the company is located in the campus of MSRIT, Bangalore. The company also has its head office and development centre in Hubli at the prestigious Center Point Building situated near STPI of Hubli. It also has a Development Center at the STPI of Hubli, Keonics IT Park. The company has a corporate office at Vijaynagar, Bangalore.
Gumbi has set up office recently in Hong Kong Science and Technology Park of Hong Kong research and its been first Indian I.T. Company to have an office at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, H.K under ZERO Rental agreement for research. Our technology is also adopted in various Universities and Educational institutions across the globe with our oversees hub at Hong Kong.
We as a business associate of KEONICS are implementing various projects in Government of Karnataka.We have also empanelled with various Government organizations like National Small Industries Corporation Limited (UPLC). Electronics Test & Development Center (ETDC) –STQC labs –Dept. of Science & Technology –GOI has tested and certified the product.
We have been awarded National " Platinum –MSME IT Excellence Award" towards Rural reach using Technology jointly by NSIC and FISME for the year 2010. The minister for medium and Large Industries, Sri. Murugesh Nirani presented the award at Banaglore IT.biz 2010 event in the presence of Chief Secretary of Karnataka and many dignitaries.
We have been awarded the MSME National Award - 2010 (Special Recognition Award) for Outstanding Entrepreneur in MSME service sector by Shri Virabhadra Singh, nd Honorable Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India on 02 September 2011 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, her Excellency The President of India was the Chief guest of the Award Ceremony.
